We found this old desk from a local university in the basement of an abandoned Detroit apartment near Midtown. Using a single piece of reclaimed wood we cut 1/8 inch strips and re-created the desk top with a live-edge border and a high gloss resin sealant. Finally we cleaned the up the table base and applied a protective gloss.
